Apply to sit on the seniors’ council

The Municipality of the County of Inverness is seeking six seniors (ages 55+) or representatives of a registered senior service organization to sit as members on a Seniors’ Council.

The Seniors’ Council will:

  • identify key issues facing seniors today
  • develop strategies to address those issues
  • help build an inclusive seniors’ strategy for the Municipality

Applicants must be residents of the Municipality of the County of Inverness.

To submit an application, send a letter of application including a brief biography as well as information on skills or assets that will be useful to the Council.

Please also provide three professional and/or volunteer references.

Applications should be submitted via the contact details below by 12 noon on March 20, 2023.
