Volunteer Recognition 2021: Alice Gowans

Congratulations, Alice Gowans!
North Mountain Cultural & Recreation Association is pleased to nominate Alice Gowans as their Volunteer of the Year.

Alice has been secretary for the association for several years and in the past, she has also taken on the responsibilities of treasurer. She has performed exceptionally in both these positions. Alice initiated the purchase of the association’s personal computer and as treasurer computerized all financial records and as secretary, she maintains all information in an organized format.

Our organization oversees many operations in our community including our community hall, beach and wharf, and our community beautification. Alice has her helping hand in all the above, including preparing our summer student applications, as well as other various applications.

In this time of COVID-19, without meetings and regular operations, Alice’s dedication and exceptional contributions has been critical in our organization meeting commitments.

Thank you, Alice for your many years of volunteer time. Congratulations!
