Volunteer Recognition 2021: Anita Patterson

Congratulations, Anita Patterson!
The Lake Ainslie Development Association is pleased to nominate Anita Patterson as this year’s community volunteer.
Anita is an active community member who is always willing to lend a hand to any, and all events happening in the community. Anita regularly contributes to events by providing baking and volunteer time at functions and events in the community, for the fire department, church and LADA events.
For many years Anita’s community contributions have centred around the General Store she owns with her husband Norman. Anita is always willing to go above and beyond to assist others, most recently helping to arrange grocery delivery to newcomers who were self-isolating. The Patterson’s donate treats to the children at the annual Christmas concert, and are always open to helping with local fundraisers, supporting tickets being sold at the store, as well as helping to distribute surveys, posters, notices, announcements, and events.
Anita lives and works in Scotsville and enjoys spending time with family, friends, her children, and grandchildren.
Congratulations, Anita!
