Volunteer Recognition 2021: Carolyn Janega

Congratulations, Carolyn Janega!

The Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society is happy to nominate Carolyn Janega as their 2021 Volunteer.
Carolyn has been a volunteer with the Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society, serving Richmond County and the southern portion of Inverness County, for the past five years. Carolyn is always willing to help with any tasks of the society and as Treasurer, she has gone above and beyond to assure the finances of the society are kept in good standing.

Besides her volunteer time with Strait Richmond Palliative Care, Carolyn has also devoted many hours of volunteer work throughout our communities. She has volunteered with Strait Area Minor Hockey, she was equipment manager for the Port Hawkesbury Thunderbolts Swim Team, she instructed religious education for many years at St. Joseph’s Parish, she has volunteered at the Port Hawkesbury Food Bank and she also instructs yoga at the Evergreen Club.
