Congratulations, Allen Ross!

St. Patrick’s Parish, NE Margaree is pleased to nominate Allen Ross of Margaree Valley for recognition of his volunteer service. Allen and his wife Barbara have two grown daughters and two beautiful granddaughters. Allen and Barbara are the owners/operators of Ross’s Cottages and have been sharing their Cape Breton hospitality with visitors from near and far for many years.

Allen always finds time to volunteer within his community in many ways. As a member of St. Patrick’s Parish, Allen offers a friendly welcome to parishioners as a greeter, and he is a Eucharistic Minister. He is an active member of the Father Robert Wicks Council of the Knights of Columbus. He is a past Grand Knight and continues to be very active with fundraising efforts for the council, funds that are generated to help with the needs of his community.

We thank Allen for his generous spirit, his friendly nature and his sense of humour — traits that make Allen an excellent example of a true volunteer.
