Congratulations, Cecile Miller!

St. Patrick’s CWL, N.E. Margaree would like to honour Cecile Miller as our 2023 Volunteer of the Year. Cecile has been a very active member of our CWL since 1983. She has served on many executives at the parish level, chairing most of the different committees as secretary and treasurer. Currently, Cecile serves as co-president of Parish Council. She assists with catering so that funds are available to distribute to many great causes.

Cecile organizes many activities, pray sessions, luncheons and gatherings. She encourages others to be involved in leadership and is always willing to offer help and assistance. Cecile is the CWL’s go-to person. When you ask Cecile a question, she always has the answer and if not, she will find the answer and offer her help.

Currently, Cecile’s main project is leading a small group of women who are making dresses for children in Africa. The group gathers at Cecile’s home on a weekly basis to sew.

Cecile’s door is always open – for sewing, prayer, meetings, visits, tea and chats — you name it!
