Procurement

Tenders and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for the Municipality of Inverness County are posted on the Nova Scotia Government Procurement Opportunities and Public Notices website. If you are new to the process, we encourage you to take a moment to explore the portal. It’s the central hub where all opportunities and updates are published.

It is the sole responsibility of vendors to monitor the Nova Scotia government website for any addenda that may be issued during an active procurement. Results for all procurement procedures are also available on the same site.

To view all Municipality of Inverness County tenders:

Please note: The Government of Nova Scotia Procurement Portal controls the status labels applied to all tenders. Only three status options are available:

  1. Open – The tender is currently available for viewing and bidding.
  2. Expired – The tender has closed and is under evaluation by the Municipality. No further bids can be accepted.
  3. Awarded – The tender has closed and the Municipality has issued an official determination.
    • Important: “Awarded” is the default label used by the Portal once a decision is made.
    • This may indicate either:
      • Awarded – A contract has been granted, or
      • Not Awarded/Canceled – No contract was issued.

To confirm the outcome of any tender, click on the tender and scroll to the bottom of the page to view the official determination.
