Important Information

Applications must be submitted at least four weeks before the requested installation or connection date.
Once your application is received, Engineering & Planning will review it and contact you if additional information is needed.
You will receive a letter from the Municipality advising whether your application has been approved or denied.
If approved, you will receive a Letter of Approval.
- This letter must be taken to the Eastern District Planning Commission to obtain a building permit.
- Approval for new services or connections related to new construction is only valid with an active building permit.

Installation scheduling depends on:
- Staff availability
- Contractor availability (if required)
- Emergency situations, which may cause delays
Service installations are completed during the annual construction season (May to October).
Once construction of the residence or building is complete, you must open a water utility account.
- This allows you to:
  - Set up billing for the property
  - Schedule installation of a water meter
