Municipality of Inverness County Transportation

Access to reliable transportation in community directly impacts the quality of life for residents. The municipality’s Culture & Community Development team is exploring ways the municipality can support better transportation needs for residents.

Through the Government of Canada’s Rural Transit Solutions Fund, the municipality held community and partner consultations during the fall of 2025 aimed at gathering input to help guide future transit improvements and strengthen connections across the county.

A report to council is being prepared to help determine next steps. Once finalized, this report will be shared here.
