Bulky Garbage Collection 2026 Update

The Municipality of Inverness County is providing an update on Bulky Garbage Collection throughout Inverness County.
• Collection will continue on Saturday, May 23.
• Collection will pause on Sunday, May 24.
• Collection will resume on Monday, May 25.
The following collection areas remain and will be covered in the coming days:
• Pleasant Bay
• Chéticamp
• Inverness
• Orangedale
• West Bay
In addition, some side roads still require collection.
A further update will be provided Tuesday, May 26 regarding any remaining collection areas.
The Municipality thanks residents for their cooperation and assistance in helping ensure a smooth Bulky Garbage Collection process.
