NOTICE: Boil Water Advisory Still In Effect

NOTICE: BOIL WATER ADVISORY STILL IN EFFECT

To:  All users of the Judique Water System

January 29th, 2019

The Municipality of the County of Inverness would like to remind customers of the Judique Water System that they are still under a boil water advisory as a public health preventative action.

Municipal staff are working with service providers to address the major deficiencies of the current treatment process and monitoring equipment in order to meet regulatory requirements and ensure consistency in operations to provide clean, safe drinking water. The Municipality will advise customers of an expected completion date when one has been determined. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Residents and users are advised to follow preventive measures using water to ensure its safety prior to consumption or use:

  • Bring tap water to a rolling boil and maintain for a minimum of 1-2 minutes
  • Cool water before using for drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth and preparing beverages and food.
