NOTICE OF SECOND READING

Proposed Adoption of By-Law for the Municipality of the County of Inverness

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the Council of the Municipality of the County of Inverness will consider the adoption of the following By-Law:

By-Law No. 52:

By-Law to authorize the voting by telephone/internet for the 2022 Special Municipal Election for the District 1 Councillor

The purpose of By-Law No. 52 is to allow voting by telephone and internet for the 2022 Special Municipal Election for the District 1 Councillor.

On December 2, 2021, Council accepted and approved First Reading of the above By-Law.

The motion to adopt By-Law No. 52 will be presented to Council for Second and Final Reading at the Regular Council Meeting on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 3:00pm in Council Chambers located at 375 Main St., Port Hood, NS, BOE 2W0.

A copy of By-Law No. 52: By-Law to authorize the voting by telephone/internet for the 2022 Special Municipal Election for the District 1 Councillor can be inspected online by visiting www.invernesscounty.ca or at the office of the Municipality of the County of Inverness, 375 Main St., Port Hood, NS.
