Notice to all residents: Sharps Disposal Guidelines
In efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19, pharmacies have implemented short-term controls and are no longer able to accept used sharps containers. The Municipality would like to remind all residents that sharps cannot be disposed of in regular recycling or garbage bags. Disposing of them in your garbage or blue bags is very dangerous for the people handling solid waste. Please call your pharmacist for advice on how to store your used sharps during this time.
