Notice to residents and visitors of Port Hood
The Port Hood Wharf, Demolition and Stabilization Project is being mobilized. The work is set to begin on Tuesday June 22nd, with the delineation of the work site and installation of the environmental controls. To protect public health and safety, the contractor will be barricading off and closing the road to Sunset Beach. This is a temporary closure while the work is underway. Please be cautious and always stay away from restricted areas as the work progresses. This project is expected to be completed by July 26th. There are alternate access points to Sunset Beach that can be used throughout the construction period.
Municipal Council and staff thank you for your cooperation and support.
