Most roads in the Municipality of the County of Inverness are either owned and maintained by the Province of Nova Scotia or are privately owned and maintained.

Road Maintenance Questions and Concerns

Any questions or concerns regarding maintenance of municipal roads should be directed to the Municipality of the County of Inverness Public Works Department at 1-866-258-0223, select option #4.

Any questions or concerns regarding maintenance of public roads not maintained by the Municipality should be directed to the Nova Scotia Department of Public Works at 1-844-696-7737 or DPW-OCC@novascotia.ca.

For private roads, please contact the private road owner.
